Product Description

Magic List Bot is a 3-in-1 software program created and sold by internet marketer Paul Ponna, software programmer Syd Ponna and project manager Melissa B. This software program helps people to build double opt-in lists quickly, without the need of having their own websites. It allows you to gather names and email addresses from people who are visiting any site.

Detailed Overview

To be specific, Magic List Bot is actually a suite of software tools that work together. There is the main MLB program, plus Magic Pop Up and Twitter List Builder. All of these software programs work together to make a pretty nice way of building your opt-in lists, basically by hijacking people from other websites.

The Magic List Bot suite works by generating code that allows people to see your pop-up opt-in form when they click on a link you’ve provided that takes them to any website. For instance, you can tweet (meaning post on Twitter) a short blurb about a certain website, and then provide a link to it. This is done not directly, but through the Magic List Bot program. When people click on the link, they go to the website, and on that website they’ll see your pop-up opt-in form that offers something for their name and email address.

Basically, you’re using the popularity of other websites to help you build an opt-in list. This means that you don’t have to design a website of your own that can hold people’s attention long enough for them to decide to enter their information into the opt-in form. You can let other people do that for you.

Though Magic List Bot does work with HTML code, you don’t have to know how to do code in order to use the program. Part of what it does is generate the code, and all that you have to do is some copying and pasting.

Reputation

People who have figured out how to use the Magic List Bot suite of programs have returned positive feedback. A recurring complaint, however, is that a lot of people have a hard time figuring it out. Paul Ponna and the rest of the team do seem to be listening, though, and have already made some changes that should help people to understand the program better. Overall, people report that it does work and it does produce results.

Domain "Whois"

The Whois information for a website lists the owner and their contact information. The owner of "Magic List Bot" has purposely made their Whois information private. While not always a bad thing, this could mean they have something to hide.
