The first step is the "P" in PROFIT which stands for promoting your list. He talks about how the most important business building activity is building your optin mailing list. Kurt says it is the step you should be doing daily and first before anything else.

The second step is the "R" which stands for rewarding a new list optin subscriber. Kurt says it is important to convince people to optin to your list. How you can do that is offering something free like a mini course, report or newsletter. There has to be a persuasive method to get the visitor to subscribe to your list.

The third step is the "O" which stands for offer a proposal. You can mix offers with content so it doesn't look like you don't have integrity. You want to establish a relationship your subscriber and offer worthwhile content and mix in some affiliate links in there.

The fourth step is the "F" which stands for fixate attention. It is important when sending an email to your email list that your subscriber opens the message. You want to use compelling subject lines to grab their attention so they will open the email.

The fifth step is the "I" which stands for initiate a response. You want to provide value to the email where you offer something your subscriber wants.

The final step is the "T" which stands for thwart the filters. It is important to make sure your emails do not go in people's spam folders, get deleted or other mailing lists like yours wins your subscriber's attention.
